Chestnuts
Our Chinese Chestnuts are produced on our massive 50 year old trees. Chinese Chestnuts are sweet-flavored and produce large nuts in the fall. Chestnuts can be eaten hot from the roaster, or added to soups, stuffing, and desserts. For information on how to prepare, roast or boil chestnuts, check out our recipe page.
Apple Cider
Our cider is pressed at a local mill (Kime's) from a mixture of our own apples! There are no preservatives or sweeteners added, just pure apple juice. We sell our cider by the gallon, 1/2 gallon, pint, and quart. A tasty and refreshing treat on a warm day.
Cut Flowers
We grow a variety of cut flowers (whatever is in season!) that we sell by the stem or pre-arranged boquet. Some of our specialties include sunflowers, lilacs, peonies, zinnias and gomphrena.
Honey
Harvested and bottled by the bee-keeper who brings the hives to our farm to pollinate our fruit trees.
Canned Peaches
Our own Summer Breeze peaches canned in light syrup. Save some for a taste of summer in the middle of winter.
Dried Apples
New for 2011, a local processor is drying our own Fuji apples for us.
Jam and Jellies
A family friend is processing our own fruit into jams, jellies and fruit butters. Check out our wide variety: from Rhubarb Butter to Peach Jam to Blackberry Jelly.
Eggs
We bring fresh white and brown eggs from free-walking hens raised by a neighoring farm to some of our markets. Check out their website at www.weikertseggfarm.com. Their hens do not live in cages, they walk freely in their rooms. Taste the difference!
