Pumpkin Pie

2 cups pumpkin                                    ¼ tsp. ginger

4 eggs                                                  ¼ tsp. nutmeg

1 cup sugar                                           1 Tbsp. cornstarch

2 cups milk                                           1 Tbsp. whiskey

½ tsp. cinnamon                                  ¼ cup melted butter

½ tsp. allspice                                       ¼ tsp. salt

¼ tsp. mace

Add dry ingredients together and mix well.  Add remaining ingredients and mix well.  Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 350 degrees F until pies are set or about 30-45 minutes.  This recipe will make two 9 inch pies.  Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.
